SECTION 3 — ASSESSMENT PLATFORM & ADMINISTRATION (6 lessons)

The candidate platform mastered: the diary and logbook kept the way assessors read them; the CPD record structured correctly from day one; version control so you always know which document is current; the consistency sweep that catches contradictions between your documents before assessors do; and the readiness map that tracks every administrative requirement.

SECTION 4 — WRITING THE SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE (6 lessons)

The statement anatomy for each level, with the official per-level briefs; writing personal evidence with "I" verbs and real particulars instead of team narratives; the four-move method for Level 3 reasoned advice (situation, options with criteria, recommendation with reasoning, outcome); allocating the official word limits — 1,500 across all mandatory competencies, 4,000 across all technical — with a worked allocation; a full rewrite workshop with before/after examples of weak and strong statements; and the compliance audit before you freeze.

SECTION 5 — BUILDING A HIGH-QUALITY CASE STUDY (6 lessons)

Choosing the right project with a weighted scorecard; the 24-month window rule and how to verify it; selecting issues that carry genuine options and advice; writing reasoned advice with the because-clause intact; the critical appraisal that referral reports most often flag as missing; the four-section structure with word budgets (~500/1,150/850/450 within the 3,000 limit); the confidentiality statement done properly — consent or disguise, never half of each; and the quality gate plus question harvest that turns your report into interview preparation.

SECTION 6 — ETHICS, RULES OF CONDUCT & PROFESSIONALISM (6 lessons)

The five Rules of Conduct verbatim with their official example behaviours and the six principles beneath them; the RICS Ethics Decision Tree walked node by node — including the official "unsure: do not proceed" instruction; conflicts of interest and the identify-assess-disclose-manage playbook; gifts, hospitality, bribery awareness and money-laundering red flags; PII, complaints and acting within competence; and ten drilled ethics scenarios with model reasoning — your preparation for the Professionalism Module, your Ethics statement, and the chairperson's closing questions, all at once.

SECTION 7 — CPD & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (5 lessons)

The official definition and three principles; 48 hours per 12 months with at least 50% formal, including the timing rule most preliminary-review candidates miss; planning your CPD year from your actual competency gaps; writing learning outcomes that answer interview questions by themselves; linking CPD to competencies the way assessors cross-reference it; and the five-check audit before any submission.

SECTION 8 — THE FINAL ASSESSMENT INTERVIEW (6 lessons)

The hour's structure stage by stage, and every panel role decoded — including the silent auditor; the ten-minute presentation built to a timed arc, with the assessor guide's own instruction to weight it heavily; the Competency Questioning Matrix decoded — how your questions are prepared from your own documents before you join the call, and how to predict 70-80% of them; answer architectures for each level so you never answer a Level 3 question with a Level 2 story; recovering from blanks, errors and hard moments professionally; and the three-mock rehearsal programme with self-marking sheets, an interview-week schedule and a day protocol.

SECTION 9 — REFERRAL, RESILIENCE & FINAL READINESS (5 lessons)

The preliminary review decoded — three-document feedback, Ready/Not Ready, and why silence in the report is a pass; understanding referral: the report's official standard (every deficiency tied to a competency, every deficiency with a stated remedy) and the five-step decode method; running a resubmission as a targeted campaign, not a repeat; and the five-panel readiness gate — the evidence-based go/no-go that stops you applying too early, which the counsellor guide names as the most common referral cause of all.
