Review Microsoft DevOps engineering concepts with two independent sets of 75 original practice questions. This course contains 150 single-answer multiple-choice questions and explanations for every option. All questions are independently authored for learning and do not contain actual, recalled, leaked, or copied certification exam questions.
The course follows the AZ-400 study-guide scope labeled July 27, 2026. Each test includes 9 questions on processes and communications, 9 on source control, 39 on build and release pipelines, 11 on security and compliance, and 7 on instrumentation. This allocation follows the published domain ranges and emphasizes the exam guide's substantial pipeline scope. Check the official guide for changes before your exam date.
Practice decisions about work traceability, feedback, metrics, Git workflows, branch protection, repository recovery, and shared packages. Pipeline questions cover artifact promotion, dependency management, tests, coverage, agents and runners, YAML reuse, job dependencies, approvals, deployment strategies, feature flags, database compatibility, infrastructure as code, configuration, and retention. Security questions address least privilege, service connections, OIDC federation, secrets, untrusted workflow inputs, code analysis, and dependency risks. Instrumentation scenarios cover application telemetry, distributed tracing, alerts, and basic KQL reasoning.
Begin with Test 1 and record the topics where your reasoning is uncertain. Read the explanation for every option, including alternatives you rejected. Connect each decision to the stated requirement and validate unfamiliar concepts through official documentation and authorized practice environments. Then use Test 2 as an independent check.
This is single-answer concept review, not a reproduction of the exact format or difficulty of the official exam. Each test uses a 100-minute study limit, an 80% practice benchmark, and randomized question and answer order. These are course settings, not Microsoft's official scoring rules. No practice score guarantees certification success.
Practical experience with Azure, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and delivery pipelines is recommended. The full DevOps Engineer Expert credential requires AZ-400 plus an eligible prerequisite certification; Microsoft's credential page currently lists Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate. Verify current prerequisite and availability rules with Microsoft.
Videos, guided labs, software licenses, and exam vouchers are not included. Cloudpuz Academy is an independent education provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
