Build your Security Incident Response decision-making skills with 120 original practice questions from Cloudpuz Academy. This independent course contains two different 60-question tests for learners studying the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response subject areas. Every question has four choices, one best answer, a separate explanation for each choice and a documentation reference. The questions are original learning scenarios, not recalled certification exam items.
The course covers all six domains in the January 2026 public CIS-SIR blueprint: SIR overview and visualization, incident creation and threat intelligence, integrations, response management, risk calculations and post-incident response, and automation. Each test uses a rounded allocation of 9, 8, 9, 9, 7 and 18 questions respectively. The allocation supports balanced practice; it does not claim to reproduce a live examination form.
Investigation scenarios ask you to preserve evidence, distinguish an observable from a verdict, assess conflicting intelligence, and map behavior to MITRE ATT&CK without overstating attribution. Major-incident cases explore proposals, promotion decisions, collaboration configuration and related incident tracking. Workspace questions help distinguish summaries, detailed forms, response tasks and related records. Analytics cases ask which measures actually answer an operational question and where historical or domain visibility limits apply.
Integration questions focus on the problems implementers encounter when a connector runs but does not produce reliable incident data. Work through field mapping, stable source identifiers, pagination, rate limits, credential rotation, response validation, timestamps and schema changes. Distinguish threat lookup from local sightings searches, and consider how tenant boundaries, source provenance and intelligence expiration affect the result.
Response-management cases cover Advanced Work Assignment, escalation mappings, security tag behavior, restricted collaboration and process-state migrations. Risk questions distinguish configured criteria, valid weights, historical recalculation and conditional field updates. Post-incident review questions address participation, assignment rules, closure dependencies and actionable improvements. Release-sensitive product behavior is identified where it affects the answer.
Automation makes up the largest section. Practice decisions about process-based playbooks, reusable subflows, enhanced user-reported phishing intake, aggregation, evidence preservation, failure outcomes, approval gates, retry safety, regression tests and reversible containment. These scenarios emphasize checking what an action actually achieved rather than equating a submitted request with successful remediation.
Each test allows 90 minutes and uses a 70 percent course study target. ServiceNow does not publish a fixed examination cut score, so this target is not an official passing-score claim. All course questions are single-answer items; the official examination also contains multiple-select items. Use these tests alongside official training and practical experience, rather than as a substitute for either. Review the explanations, follow the references, and try unfamiliar configuration workflows in an authorized instance.
This course contains practice tests, not video lessons or a hosted lab. No ServiceNow license, training subscription or exam voucher is included. The material received an author documentation review, but no independent expert approval or complete live-instance laboratory execution is claimed. Product releases and exam requirements can change. Check current official documentation and prerequisite requirements before scheduling certification or making production changes. Cloudpuz Academy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ServiceNow or MITRE. Product names identify the study subject. A practice score does not award or guarantee certification.
