Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

You know something people would pay to learn. What stands between that and income is not marketing — it is that the knowledge is still stored in you as instinct.

"It's obvious" means you stopped noticing the steps

You do the thing correctly and you cannot describe the sequence, which means you cannot walk anyone through it and cannot price it. So you undercharge, or you do not charge at all, because the part that took you eleven years to learn now feels too easy to sell. You ran a session once and it went well and nothing came of it, because you never asked what happened afterwards. You started recording a course and stopped somewhere around lesson four. And every time someone says you should teach this, you agree in principle and change the subject.

What this course covers

Forty-one lessons, in the order the work actually happens. Your own valuation first: who an impostor usually turns out to be, the seventy per cent, the trap of finding it too easy, what market value is made of, and standing on three legs rather than one. Then extraction: the difference between explicit and tacit knowledge and why the second kind does not transfer on its own, interviews and working groups that pull it out, structuring it into something navigable, retrospectives on your own mistakes, and whether anybody uses what you wrote down. Then the room: Dale's Cone, evaluating whether training worked, problematisation, group size, the physical space, programme design, the four-stage cycle, group dynamics and role distribution, handling the participant who arrived unwilling, metaphors, sub-group rules, and running it online. Then the session, which is a different job: what facilitation is and the one skill it depends on, formulating a goal the session can actually reach, choosing who is in the room, holding focus, generating and prioritising ideas, assigning an owner to every action, difficult participants, timing, large groups and international teams. Then the product: how adults learn, choosing a platform, building the programme and the homework, running the launch, engagement, and checking work. Then mentoring: matching, boundaries, the learning style, ending on a date, and seven scenarios. Finally the part nobody teaches: client satisfaction and effort scores, the client journey audit, service standards, difficult clients, escalation, and preventing the review before it is written.

Five blocks recorded for organisations

The knowledge, training, facilitation, mentoring and client care blocks were recorded for companies — how an organisation extracts expertise, trains people, runs sessions and serves customers. The craft does not change with size. Pulling knowledge out of a head, designing backwards from a result, holding a room, ending a mentoring relationship on time and keeping a client after the first sale work identically for one person and for a corporation. The difference is that one person has no department to catch what falls, which is exactly why these five read here as instructions for yourself.
