Practice Microsoft security operations concepts with two independent sets of 75 original questions. This course provides 150 single-answer multiple-choice questions and explanations for every answer option. The material is independently authored for study and does not contain actual, recalled, leaked, or copied certification exam questions.
The course follows the SC-200 objectives effective July 28, 2026. Each test includes 30 questions on managing a security operations environment, 27 on responding to security incidents, and 18 on threat hunting. The distribution falls within the published domain ranges while providing a consistent study structure.
Review Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel configuration, automation rules, playbooks, telemetry collection, data collection rules, analytics rules, custom detections, retention, and operational tuning. Explore incident investigation across email, endpoints, identities, cloud workloads, and sensitive data. Practice reasoning about containment, evidence, remediation, recovery, and coordinated case management.
Threat-hunting questions cover KQL concepts, relevant Advanced Hunting tables, entity correlation, baselines, graphs, blast-radius analysis, data lake KQL jobs, summary rules, search jobs, notebooks, and supported MCP-assisted exploration. Questions involving AI-assisted investigation emphasize checking generated conclusions against source evidence and respecting permissions and data boundaries.
Start with Test 1, review all explanations, and practice the relevant tasks in a suitable authorized environment. Use Test 2 afterward to assess remaining gaps. Keep notes on why the correct option fits and why each alternative is unsuitable. These are concept-review questions, not an exact reproduction of the certification exam’s format or difficulty.
Each test uses a 100-minute study limit, an 80% practice benchmark, and randomized questions and answers. These are course settings rather than Microsoft’s scoring rules. No practice result guarantees a certification pass. Basic familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, security monitoring, and identity concepts is recommended. Videos, guided labs, software licenses, and exam vouchers are not included. Check the current Microsoft study guide before your exam.
