This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
You already have a personal brand. It is whatever people conclude about you from what they can see, and right now nobody is managing it.
The question is not whether to have one. It is whether the conclusion people reach is the one you would have chosen.
Why most personal branding advice fails
It starts with output. Post more, be consistent, show up. So people post, get nothing back, and conclude the whole thing is for extroverts with more time. What is missing is everything that comes before posting: a position, an audience, a proposition, and a reason for anyone to care.
The other half of the problem is the description itself. "Helping people reach their potential" is a sentence that fits several million people. If your positioning does not answer "compared to whom", it is not positioning, it is a job title with adjectives.
Where this course comes from
The method here is taken from employer branding — the discipline of making a company attractive to a specific audience — and applied to a person. That is a deliberate choice rather than an accident of the material, and it is the reason the course is more concrete than most personal branding content.
Employer brand work has to be measurable, because a budget depends on it. So it comes with an audit method, an explicit value proposition structure, audience research, a messaging matrix, a channel plan and a metrics dashboard. Every one of those transfers to a person, and almost none of them appear in ordinary personal brand advice.
What the course covers
Thirty-five lessons. The brand method first: the audit of what people already conclude about you, the positioning statement formula, a messaging matrix that turns one position into six versions for six audiences, tone of voice, and the monitoring that tells you what is being said.
Then the value proposition itself, five lessons, including the diagnostic that shows the gap between how you see yourself and what your public presence actually communicates. Then audience research, strategy, metrics, the communication plan and social media, plus the practical toolkit — landing pages, creatives, advertising and copy.
Then the digital layer: your site, referrals, email, content, SEO, paid reach and the platforms where a professional reputation actually lives. And finally ten lessons turning visibility into a career outcome — talents and direction, impostor syndrome, the skills audit, the search strategy, the CV and profile, the financial planning behind a move, burnout, and the A-player audit.
