Practice the decisions that test managers make with 120 original questions from Cloudpuz Academy. This independent course provides two different sets of 60 questions organized around the three areas of the ISTQB Advanced Level Test Management v3.0 outline. Each question has four options, one best answer, an explanation for every choice and a study reference. These are independently written hypothetical scenarios, not official, recalled or copied examination questions.
The test-activities section addresses resource commitments, changing plans, monitoring and control, completion evidence, stakeholder engagement and coordination across different delivery cycles. Make choices about specialist availability, vendor acceptance, operational readiness and the evidence needed at different test levels. Risk scenarios ask you to examine consequences, stakeholder participation, uncertainty and constrained test capacity.
Strategy and improvement questions explore the relationship between organizational expectations and project needs. Select suitable practices, make objectives measurable, distinguish progress from assurance and identify useful improvement actions. Tool scenarios examine representative pilots, lifecycle ownership, support costs, integration requirements, data handling and migration. The emphasis is on explaining the decision in context rather than memorizing product features.
The product section develops interpretation of test and defect information. Work with explicit denominators, changing scope, blocked work, aging, traceability and report audiences. Estimation scenarios distinguish effort from elapsed time and compare historical evidence, expert judgment, weighted estimates, dependencies and contingency. Defect-management questions cover confirmation gates, triage, deferred work, cross-team status meanings and useful investigation details.
The team section examines capability gaps, practical assessment, knowledge transfer, coaching, delegation and appropriate leadership as a team develops. Further questions distinguish working conditions from motivational factors and analyze the costs and expected benefits of testing. Numerical cases state their formulas and assumptions, so you can work through the reasoning without guessing a hidden convention.
Each set contains 31 test-activities questions, 18 product-management questions and 11 team-management questions. This rounded study distribution is not an exact replica of an official examination. Allow 144 minutes per set, scaled from the official 50-question, 120-minute format checked in November 2026. The course uses a 70 percent study target with equally weighted questions. The official exam uses weighted points, with 58 out of 88 required at the time checked; the two scores are not directly equivalent.
During preparation, 22 arithmetic and finite-selection checks were executed and the exported questions, answer keys and explanations were compared with the source bank. An author editorial pass revised weak distractors. Local lexical screening found no matching or high-similarity stems in the available question collection. These checks are not an independent expert assessment or a guarantee that every possible interpretation has been excluded.
Foundation-level software testing knowledge and practical experience with test planning, defects and team delivery are recommended. This course contains practice questions, not video instruction, an examination voucher or accredited training.
