Practice enterprise data decisions with 120 original questions from Cloudpuz Academy. This independent course supports preparation for the Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect examination through two different 60-question tests. Each question has four choices, one best answer, an explanation for every option and a reference for further study. These are independently written learning scenarios, not recalled examination items or an official question bank.
Each test covers the six areas of the published outline: 15 data-modeling questions, 3 master-data questions, 15 Salesforce data-management questions, 6 governance questions, 12 large-data-volume questions and 9 migration questions. The allocation gives balanced coverage of the stated domain weights. It does not claim to reproduce the content or difficulty distribution of a particular live examination form.
Data-modeling scenarios ask you to choose relationships from lifecycle and access requirements, model many-to-many associations, preserve effective-dated history and avoid repeating field groups. Distinguish stable identifiers from mutable contact details, transaction snapshots from current reference values, calendar dates from instants, and numerical amounts from their currency context. Other questions explore formulas, rollups, Person Accounts, indirect lookups, big-object query design and the costs of denormalization.
Master-data and data-management cases focus on entity matching, attribute survivorship, source provenance and governed customer views across systems. Diagnose false-positive duplicate matches, plan historical cleanup, preserve downstream references during merges and distinguish null values from omitted updates. Evaluate controlled vocabularies, license capabilities, field ownership, late-arriving changes and external-object designs. Virtualization questions require you to consider adapter capabilities, runtime dependencies and the transmission of query results even when no persistent replica is created.
Governance scenarios address data inventories, classification metadata, purpose-driven collection, retention, stewardship and controlled exceptions. They distinguish descriptive classification from configured protection, and pseudonymous identifiers from claims of irreversible anonymization. These scenarios develop architectural reasoning; they do not provide legal advice or determine your organization's legal obligations. Responsible privacy, legal and business owners must make applicable policy decisions.
Large-volume questions explore filter selectivity, query plans, data distribution, indexing constraints, skinny-table evaluation, relationship hotspots, result pagination and archive retrieval. Migration scenarios examine profiling, versioned mappings, parent-child dependencies, identifier crosswalks, controlled automation, partial failures, final deltas, business control totals and rollback boundaries. Learn why a successful job or a matching row count is only part of the evidence needed for a trustworthy migration.
Each test allows 105 minutes and uses a 58 percent practice threshold. Review the explanations for both correct and incorrect choices, follow the documentation references and validate unfamiliar behavior in an authorized Salesforce environment. Product capabilities and examination requirements may change; check the current official guide before scheduling. A practice result is a study signal and does not guarantee certification readiness or a passing result.
This is a practice-test course rather than a video course or hosted lab. Salesforce access, software licenses and exam vouchers are not included. It is intended for experienced administrators, developers and architects who already understand Salesforce objects, relationships and basic data operations. Cloudpuz Academy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce. Product and certification names identify the study subject. Course completion does not award certification.
